Parking

Parking

Parking covers a whole range of situations. While the majority of motorists  commonly think that parking only applies to facilities where parking is invited for a tariff, there are numerous other scenarios where parking is not invited.

The latter scenario usually occurs when a landowner is seeking to preserve their rights and peaceful enjoyment of their property by taking measures to ensure that uninvited, or 'fly, parking is actively discouraged.

Whether parking is invited or not, there will be signs to say so. On land where there is not any signage, motorists should not assume that they are free to park as this may be someone's private property.

When it comes to parking, the golden rule for any motorist is to read the signs and adhere to the terms and conditions.
